This Rod McKuen quote means a lot to me. Although we enjoy most the times in life when everything is going great, we have to admit and accept that there will be times of paint where things are not all right. We have to allow ourselves to feel those times as well if for no other reason than to appreciate more the wonderful times.

He was part of my teenage years too. I had a couple of his albums. You and I have had conversations about feeling all the feelings deeply. I am glad for us both that we can.

I guess I am somewhat repititious with the same themes, but they are a true representation of who I am. I also am glad about feeling deeply and always appreciative of others who are much the same.
