I am going to participate in a blogging event called Words Crush Wednesday hosted by the terrific blog Rebirth of Lisa.  In my short life of blogging I have already posted a few quotes and there are so many more to share.  This event will encourage me to keep posting those quotes.  My first weekly quote:

Good Woman says, “Amen, Sister”.  In the spirit of being a contented senior, this quote rings true.

    These words could not be more true. After seeing Sophia Loren on the red carpets this past week she truly has a youthful mind.

    Those words really resonated with me. I missed seeing her on the red carpet but I expect she has a youthful mind if she embraces this philosophy. Thanks for your comment.

      Thanks for looking. This challenge is right up my alley because for years I have written favorite quotes in a journal. Some of them might now actually see the light of day.

    I’ve been puzzling over the comment about your husband’s mind…I am thinking you mean that he tends to not take some things seriously enough? Not that I want to analyze him but I think this is a lighthearted jab.

      Just a light-hearted jab, he is just such a child, he thinks he’s still 18 and I love him for it.

    I was hoping that is what you meant…but I didn’t want to make some glib remark if you were making a serious complaint. Now that I understand I can appreciate what you are saying. It is good to think young!
