Snowfall at the Homestead

The high desert of northern New Mexico experiences winter in its grandeur.

Snow started falling yesterday morning and it fell intermittently all day.  The meteorologist calls it “a snow event”.   We have had very little snow so far this season and the land is thirsty for moisture.

The snow is beautiful.  The morning light displays the beauty at the Good Woman’s humble adobe abode.

This post was actually inspired by an exchange of comments I had with you on your blog.

It was very pretty, but by later that same day or the next day most of the snow had melted. We need the moisture so bad that it would make me happy to have a really huge snowfall that would take a little longer to recover from.

Thank you. I need to develop better photography skills and get a decent camera but I am fairly well satisfied with how the pictures turned out.
